Giovanni Feroce

Senior Consultant

Giovanni graduated with a BA from the University of Rhode Island, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School's Advanced Management Program; and from the United States John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School’s Civil Affairs Officer Advance Course. He was also awarded Honorary Doctorates in Business from URI and Rhode Island College. His political background includes being elected and serving as the country’s youngest state senator; he also served as a Commissioner of the Rhode Island State Lottery taking it from $58 million to $456 million in two short years. A retired U.S. Army field grade officer, he is an Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom combat veteran and was at one time a Ground Operations Officer and Interagency Operations Officer at US Central Command. He also served as the first-ever Liaison for USCENTCOM to the U.S. Government for all six core agencies, CIA, FBI, DEA, Dept of Homeland Security, Dept of State and the Dept of the Treasury. His most well-known corporate accomplishment was as CEO/CMO of Alex and Ani where he managed hyper growth, increasing sales from $2.2M to over $350M in a 48-month period and an overall enterprise value of well over U.S. $1 billion.

Erin Murphy

Erin is an experienced sales and marketing professional. She spent the past four years in Miami, FL as a commercial real estate associate, leveraging experience in marketing & business development to facilitate the sale of investment properties. Accumulating over $25,000,000 in gross sales across the office, retail, and industrial market sectors. After years spent as a strictly commissioned salesperson, responsible for prospecting, acquiring listings, marketing CRE assets to targeted investors, facilitating leads, & negotiating contracts through closing, she was recognized by South Florida Business Journal for record sales within the Industrial submarket.

Prior to launching a career in commercial real estate, Erin honed extensive marketing and business development skills under the leadership of Giovanni Feroce, at the military-inspired lifestyle brand, BENRUS. Primary responsibilities included the development and implementation of a cohesive Marketing/PR strategy across all departments. Produced content for traditional and digital marketing platforms including radio/ tv ads, billboards, e-commerce website, digital ads, email marketing campaigns, & press features.

She graduated from Providence College in 2014, with high honors. Erin is an avid runner and was co-captain of the 2013 Women’s D1 Cross Country National Championship team.

Kylie

Kylie Harwood

Associate Consultant

Kylie Harwood graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She kickstarted her professional career at Alex and Ani where she served as a member of the marketing team, with a specific focus on events. She planned and executed the grand opening of six Alex and Ani brick and mortar locations throughout the United States and also developed and oversaw the marketing presence of Alex and Ani at major events, such as tradeshows, fashion weeks and large-scale music festivals throughout the country. After Alex and Ani, Kylie joined the Providence-and-New-York-based startup, BENRUS where her efforts consisted of managing all social media aspects, partnering with influencers and editorials to cross-promote the brand, planning and executing new product launches, and spearheading new marketing campaigns with a go-to-market approach. Most notably, she managed the partnerships with NFL, NBA and Major Collegiate Sports programs,  She also played a major role in the planning and promoting of the “It’s a Better Time” campaign featuring supermodel, Camille Kostek. Post-BENRUS, Kylie joined another startup, the Shark-Tank-winning lifestyle jewelry brand, Stella Valle. During her time there, she developed and implemented all marketing and advertising campaigns and planned and maintained all social media accounts and digital communications. Most recently, Kylie has applied her skill set to act as a marketing consultant for multiple clients across the country. Kylie’s past experiences in diverse professional environments have taught her how to readily and enthusiastically adapt to novel experiences. Working at small-scale companies taught her the importance of innovation, flexibility, and collaboration, while working in a large-scale corporate environment equipped her with the skills to produce standout work and a readiness to tackle the unfamiliar.
